I had the privilidge of seeing this magnigicent piece, "Power and Authority", quite by accident while searching for an address within the complex that Mr.Stone has his studio. The door was open slightly and while turning my car around it caught my eye. I was immediately awestruck. I was dumbfounded at the beauty and craftsmanship, not to mention the scale and artistic talent displayed. Every person I spoke with for the next week had to listen to my description, which I felt certainly did not do it justice to what my eyes had taken in.
Soon after there was an article in one of the newspapers, then another and now everyone can appreciate this unique and wonderful artist and what he has created.
I sincerely hope that Mr.Stone will continue with his work. It is inspiring.
It will be sad to see this precious work leave.
